Argyll's Lodging

Scotland’s finest 17th-century townhouse, it stands just beyond the castle walls and was built as the residence for a great nobleman serving the royal court.

Its fine architecture and courtyard lead into a large, comfortable house. The grand rooms have precious painted decorations and wonderful period furniture. There are also recreated kitchens.

Argyll's Lodging is named after the Campbells of Argyll.
